Public announcement from Andrew Smolnik regarding CEN Racing

 

There have been some misconceptions regarding the company that I currently race for and I’d like to clear that up with this brief statement.

 

I have been employed by CEN Racing for 9 ½ years and the Matrix 1/8th buggy has been a successful, quality product during a large portion of my employment. Although the Matrix 1/8th buggy is by no means discontinued and still selling well, we’ve (CEN Racing) been working on, an all new buggy from the ground up. During this time, I’ve been seen driving various competing products ranging from the Losi 8ight, to the Agama A8 for research and development purposes. Therefore I’d like to clear up any questions regarding who I drive for. I drive for CEN Racing and I am very excited for the release of our all new 1/8th buggy. The buggy is currently un-named as it will not bear the Matrix name because it is completely different. I will be competing with this new buggy at this year’s IFMAR World Championships.

 

CEN Racing has been undergoing some radical changes within the last 6 months and we look forward to bringing all new high quality, competitive product to the market. Our first product is the 1/5th scale Matrix 5 short course which was released 2 weeks ago. So far, the product is taking off quite well and we expect to continue this positive energy with much more product to come.
